Reed is Chairman of Oaklins International, one of the world’s largest mid-market M&A firms with 850+ investment bankers in 45 countries. His firm has completed transactions with Microsoft, TripAdvisor, The New York Times, Conde Nast, Oracle, Thomson Reuters, Deloitte, S&P Global, and Deutsche Borse. Phillips co-founded Oaklins DeSilva & Phillips, a specialty investment bank for the marketing, media, information, and technology industries, which has completed nearly 400 M&A transactions, financings, and valuations. Before he became an investment banker, Phillips spent ten years as an entrepreneur and executive at midsize companies in the roles of founder, CEO, Vice President or Associate Publisher. He is a graduate of Duke University with an A.B. in Management Sciences and lives in Manhattan with his wife and two dogs.
